SLAMpeg 3238: Solo Darling vs Su Yung
Shazza McKenzie is our official for this 2 out of 3 falls knockout match. As the match begins, it is Su that starts strong. After some back and forth action between the two women, Su works a number of submission hold, including a Boston Crab and Camel Clutch. Su is not seeking the submission, but wearing Solo down and it’s a tactic that pays off when Su is able to secure a Sleeperhold and Solo is soon knocked out.
Round 2 sees Solo battle back, although her early attempts to even the score are consistently thwarted by Su. Both a piggyback Sleeper and a Dragon Sleeper prove ineffective for Solo as Su is able to escape from both. Finally though, a standard Sleeper does the job and the score is all square going as we head to the third and final round.
Solo is the fresher wrestler going into the last round, but Su has already proved to be a resilient fighter. As the battles rages on, a Backbreaker proves to be the deciding factor that weakens one wrestler enough for her opponent to lock on an inescapable bodyscissor/Sleeper combo and send her to dreamland one last time.
