SLAMpeg 5956: Rocky Radley vs Chico Adams

Pre-match stretching and trash talk set the stage for this one with Chico flexing his muscle dominating 2 lockups before Rocky flexes her brain opting for several roll ups instead of the third. But maybe showing up Chico was not the smartest move as he soon demonstrates.

Rocky spends what seems like an eternity getting worked over in a corner before a grand tour of the other 3 sees a reversal of fortunes in the final corner and Chico tastes some of his own medicine. Back and forth brawling finally gives way to a legal hold some 4 minutes in in the form of a neck vice. Eventually a deep nerve pinch joins the ranks of actual holds but strikes still are the offense of choice. An emphasis on choking seems to really take the wind out of the sales on one competitor as comeback attempts are easily thwarted and the struggle is real.

A Sleeper seems like the perfect compliment to what has evolved into a methodical dissection but the arm just won’t drop a third time and adrenaline does its thing. A valiant comeback is in the offing but can the surge last long enough to snatch victory from what looked like an inevitable defeat?
