SLAMpeg 1937: Courtney Rush vs Justine Silver

Referee Madison Eagles trips over the names of both wrestlers to start this Best 2 out of 3 Falls Match.

Justine and Courtney trade Armlocks during the early going as each looks for an opening. Courtney finds hers with a leg trip and goes to work on Justine’s legs with a Spinning Toehold. Silver proves her metal by weathering a finger-locked back bend, reversing the hold before wearing Courtney down with a tight Headscissors, kneed Surfboard and prolonged anklelock.

Rush uses her height to her advantage, trapping Justin in a standing Full Nelson and pummeling the youngster with elbows, fist drops and a discus punch to the head. Both wrestlers throw a flurry of forearms into each other’s sternum but neither will give an inch despite their mounting exhaustion. After a back and forth battle a pair of tightly applied Sleepers leaves one wrestler down and out and manages to impress Madison so much that she’s even able to recall the victor’s name.
