SLAMpeg 5730: Becky Bayless vs Mercedes Martinez

Lexie Fyfe wears the stripes for this 1 Fall contest. Mercedes offers a clean break in the opening stages of the match, but things will heat up after that. Clean technical wrestling and counters until Mercedes takes Becky down with a drop toehold, and Becky battles out with forearms. Bayless follows up with a running elbow in the corner, but Martinez takes over after that.

Mercedes stomps on Becky in the corner, following up with a Snapmare and Surfboard, gaining a near fall in the process. Mercedes then traps Bayless in a Rocking Horse and Camel Clutch, also displaying her mean streak when she claws at Becky's face and stands on her throat. Becky buys herself some time with a jawbreaker and manages to plant Mercedes into the mat face-first. She regains some confidence after that, but is it enough to overcome the formidable Martinez?
