SLAMpeg 1930: Leva vs Tomoka Nakagawa

There’s a bit of a culture divide at the beginning of this match. Leva is dressed as Finn from Adventure Time and the bemused Tomoka has never watched the show, leading to some spirited impromptu spokesmanship on Leva's part for Cartoon Network and Netflix! But no matter, any cultural gap is soon bridged by the universal language of pro wrestling!

The action kicks off in unorthodox fashion as Tomoka pulls the ears on Leva’s bear hat while the latter reciprocates by simply pulling on Tomoka’s hair. Leva’s cosplay accoutrements–her sword, her green backpack–are all destined to enter the proceedings in increasingly comical ways, used to hinder and to attack alike. But never fear, there are plenty of spectacular wrestling moves on display. Ceiling Holds, Camel Clutches, Full Nelsons, Clotheslines, kicks and stomps…all make their appearances in between the sword pokes to the stomach and the backpack blindfolds!

It’s like the Cartoon Network decided to branch out into wrestling!
