SLAMpeg 1331: Kellie Skater vs Shazza McKenzie

It’s a match made Down Under as Australians face off in what can only be described as a showcase of serious craft by some equally serious athletes. This is not a gimmicky conflict – what we have here is a back and forth exhibition of skillful submission wrestling.

Control shifts via a quicksilver series of moves–Full Nelsons, Camel Clutch, chokehold, Front Facelock. Shazza wins the first fall with a combination Waistscissors/Sleeperhold.

Kellie gives as good as she gets, laying Shazza out with clubbing blows and cruel kicks and tying her legs up every which way in various submission holds. A back-arching Boston Crab has to be seen to be believed. Yet another combo Sleeper/bodyscissors puts a wrestler out, only this time, it’s Shazza.

The third fall could go either way as the ladies trade Full Nelsons, Headlocks and neck-twisting submissions. One last Sleeperhold leaves one athlete out for the count.
