SLAMpeg 3289: Amanda Rodriguez vs Su Yung

Amanda is in the ring performing some prematch stretching when she is joined by Su and match official, Angel Rose. A bootless Amanda asks Su to remove her own footwear, so as to ensure a fair fight. Su agrees and after a little more stretching from both wrestlers, the match is on.

Amanda immediately targets Su’s knee with a succession of kicks that quickly leave Su hobbling around the ring, barely able to walk. With Su taking a rest against the turnbuckle, Amanda tries to finish the match swiftly, but Su is able to dodge the attack and Amanda’s ankle only hits turnbuckle. And now both women are down, nursing injured limbs.

Amanda and Su try to fight on, but it proves to be a difficult task. Finally, a burst of rage-fuelled adrenaline allows Su to hang Amanda up on the turnbuckle and apply pressure to her already damaged ankle- enough to earn Su a controversial victory over Amanda.

In terms of full disclosure, we should say that there’s not a lot of wrestling in this contest. Consider it more a battle of wills and endurance.
