SLAMpeg 4490: Aja Perera vs Kiera Hogan

In this 2 out of 3 falls champion vs. champion match, only one wrestler walks out looking like they're worthy of holding gold. Aja holds the Southern Spirit title while Kiera proudly brandishes her Customer's Choice belt.

It's the aggressive Aja calling the shots in this one. Barely a minute in, Aja already has Kiera in a Camel Clutch and she connects with a kick to the face. The first fall is an easy one for Aja and she methodically takes Kiera apart with a Bow & Arrow stretch, an Abdominal Stretch, and Garvin Stomps, until she decides to focus on Kiera's knee. She lowers the knee pad and brutally grinds her fists and knuckles into Kiera's leg, essentially nerfing her for the rest of the match. The slowed Kiera is easy pickings for an well-cranked Chinlock that ends the first fall.

The short break does Kiera no good as Aja immediately attacks the leg right out of the gate, looking to finish things with a Boston Crab. Kiera shows off how much spirit she has, but what little offense she has doesn't last long, her injured leg just too much to over come. Aja attacks with stiff kicks to the back, a surfboard stretch, an armbar, and a Dragon Sleeper. It's an overwhelming assault capped off by a Japanese stranglehold that has Kiera shouting for this one to be over.
