SLAMpeg 1327: Lorelei Lee vs Taeler Hendrix

This Best 2 out of 3 Falls match-up begins with a handshake. It ends with the referee separating Lorelei and Taeler after the final bell and the promise of a new rivalry.

Taeler earns the first fall quickly after a cocky Lorelei offers the chance at a “free” maneuver and Taeler slips behind and rolls her up to score the 3 count. Lorelei uses her submission maneuvers–including a Bearhug from behind, a reverse Chinlock and a shoudler claw–to gain the advantage in the second fall. She traps Taeler in a seated Full Nelson and when she adds a bodyscissors, there’s no option for Taeler except to tapout and even the score.

The two battle valiantly to gain the third and final fall. Lorelei slams Taeler into the corner and delivers multiple stomps, head slams and forearms to the face. Taeler responds by taking a page out of Lorelei’s book and locking on a Full Nelson/bodyscissors and stretching Lorelei with Hammerlocks and a Bow & Arrow hold. One wrestler breaks the rules with a rake of the back, then takes her eye off the prize while talking to the referee. It allows her opponent to sneak in and score a surprise rollup 3 count to secure the hard-fought victory.
