Before they were The Experience they were rivals-very bitter rivals. So from so early in the Vault fans were in the stands comes a 2 out of 3 fall chapter from this storied rivalry. A tremendous example of technical skill with moves and counters, and counters to the counters characterizes the first fall. As both battle for the upper hand but neither finding that decisive hold or move to swing momentum. A bow and arrow is thwarted by great ring awareness but just when you think the stalemate could last a while a sudden bulldog scores the first fall.

Referee Vanessa Harding unintentionally leaves the victor wide open as the vengeful loser of the 1st fall vents quite a bit of frustration. The 2nd fall is far from the technical masterpiece of the 1st and unfortunately for the recipient of the frustration Vanessa proves incapable of preventing the various chokes, chops, ring abuse and other dastardly tactics. Credit where it’s due she tries to give back some of that medicine but it’s not enough and a Sleeper evens the match at 1 fall each.

It’s an uphill battle to get back into the match as the rule breaking formula isn’t broke so why fix it, but with ire for the ref growing by the moment and dividing the attention of the aggressor an inevitable opening comes. Ultimately one wins and one loses but a sportsmanlike gesture turns out badly for the winner and much worse for the ref!
