SLAMpeg 1566: Lacey vs Santana

Lacey starts by explaining that Santana should feel honored that Lacey even knows her name. Santana responds by telling Lacey she’s forgotten hers and the fight is on!

Lacey takes over with a series of punches before going on a turnbuckle smash tour of the ring with Santana in tow. Santana isn’t about to let Lacey run away with this match, delivering a seated Dropkick and nearly putting Lacey away with a textbook Sunset Flip! Lacey does her best to keep things grounded, wearing Santana out in a Camel Clutch, double-toed Surfboard and Cobra Clutch.

To keep the momentum Lacey adds back rakes, chokes, eye gouges and hairpulling, but avoiding Santana’s high impact offense is hard to do and a handspring back elbow in the corner stuns the cocky veteran. There’s no quit in these two and they go at each other in a non-stop assault using legal and illegal tactics until a final seated full leg Nelson leads to a winning submission and the satisfied victor rolling her defeated foe out of the ring.
