SLAMpeg 6485: Ayoka vs Kiera Hogan

Kiera’s Customer Choice Championship is on the line in this 2 out of 3 Fall Match, and Ayoka is determined to be the Customer’s new choice. The opening exchanges feature some excellent chaining with Kiera showing off come nifty counters and creative holds though mostly of the controlling nature. Ayoka on the other hand cinches in some pretty painful submissions forcing the resourceful Champion into rope breaks and gaining the psychological edge.

Things change dramatically when seemingly out of nowhere Ayoka calls her shot and moments later Kiera is tapping to a Bow & Arrow with a nasty armbar, and Ayoka made it look easy! The break between falls doesn’t appear to have done Kiera much good but a clever escape from a Full Nelson gives her a little swagger back. They go back and forth trading submissions and counters but Ayoka isn’t bringing the caliber of moves as she opened with and Hogan is gaining confidence. A unique Hammerlock/Abdominal Stretch combo certainly slows Kiera’s roll, barely forcing a counter before ending up in a tight Dragon Sleeper, Ayoka risks a DQ by holding on even after the champion valiantly makes it to the ropes but Kiera gets the reward earning a DQ victory evening up the falls at 1.

Kiera finds herself with a golden opportunity to retain her title despite being out wrestled the majority of the match while Ayoka has to be concerned another mistake could cost her the title. Neither wrestler wants to make the first mistake but eventually one gets an opening and makes the most of it!
