SLAMpeg 5390: Heather Monroe vs Leila Grey

Leila has proven to be a skilled, gutsy wrestler with a potential that’s almost unlimited. Unfortunately, against a vicious veteran like Heather, Leila is also a bit naïve, and in this match, mostly displays the ability to keep from tapping out or getting pinned … which isn’t a bad thing, unless you’re taking a beating from the likes of Heather for nearly 15 minutes.

Heather offers a test of strength at the outset, then kicks her in the gut to begin the onslaught. Heather beats her to the mat and locks on a bodyscissors, then starts mercilessly punching Leila in the back of the head. Leila goes head-first into the turnbuckles, then gets whipped across the ring into the opposite corner, where Heather continues the beatdown. Heather Snapmares her opponent to the middle of the ring, drops a leg on her twice, then covers for the first of numerous 2 counts.

Both inside and outside of the ring, Heather maintains the intensity. She seats a groggy Leila on a folding chair on the floor and applies a Rear Naked Choke from behind, the repeatedly clubs her to the side of the head. Heather face-slams Leila into the chair, rams her into the ringpost, and traps her in a Bow & Arrow hold around the ringpost. Back inside the ring, Heather continues with over-the-knee Backbreaker submission holds, a Camel Clutch, and numerous foot chokes and rope chokes, and a Tree of Woe beatdown.

Leila feebly attempts to fight back, but Heather quickly regains the upper hand. Two consecutive power maneuvers leaves Leila out cold on the mat and finally unable to kick out, securing the victory for Heather.
